Deep Freeze is a video documentation of a performance where Sethi peels off and wears a frozen cotton sari that was put to dry on a fence. Her apparent discomfort of wearing a sari In below zero temperatures contends with her sheer determination to make it work. This piece was conceptualized and created while on residency at The Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity during the winter of 2019.
