In January 2026, I was honoured to be presenting my work on a panel of artists, scholars, and curators titled “Orienting Desires” alongside the exhibition Deviant Ornaments curated by Noor Bhangu held at the National Museum, Oslo.

“Orienting Desires” was a two-day symposium that was dedicated to fostering cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary dialogue on queer histories, decolonial archives, ornamental aesthetics, and digital futures for knowledge production, while mapping continuities and discontinuities between different contexts and practices.
